How to access ImageEdit

There are a few ways you can access ImageEdit:

1. Visit ImageEdit in Labs. 
2. In the AI Labs drop-down menu at the top navigation, simply click “Edit Photos.”
3. ImageEdit is available within the Envato photo library. Simply navigate to a photo item page and click “Edit.” It’s as simple as that!
4. You can also access ImageEdit from labs.envato.com. Enter your own prompt and generate an image, then click “Edit.” Voilà!

How can you use ImageEdit?

Let’s say you’re about to promote a creative writing workshop for women. You’ll need a flyer to let people know all the details, whether you want to share it on digital channels or print it to hand out in person.

So you go to Envato and look for professionally taken photos of women writing. While these are already high-quality images, wouldn’t it be nice to customize them and add your touch?

  • Hold the “A” key: Preview original/current
  • Hold Alt/Option: Paintbrush turns into eraser
  • “[” or Command/Win and scroll out: Decrease brush size
  • “]” or Command/Win and scroll in: Increase brush size
  • Command/Control-Z: Undo
  • Command/Control-Shift-Z: Redo
  • Hold Space while in brush mode, or press the middle mouse button and move the mouse to pan the camera around the canvas.
  • Scroll the middle mouse button/scroll wheel to zoom in/out.
• For background removal, use images with clear subject-to-background separation. This feature works best when the image’s subject is clearly defined and stands out from the background.
• Use the brush tool carefully to remove objects. Take your time and select the object precisely with the brush tool for a seamless edit.
