You can, but it’s like eating soup with a fork. Technically possible, just not great. Drawing with your finger works for quick ideas, but you lose pressure sensitivity and precision. An Apple Pencil makes Procreate actually feel like the tool it’s meant to be.
Enable Animation Assist in Actions, and then each layer becomes a frame. Draw, adjust timing, and preview your loop. It’s a simple frame-by-frame animation, perfect for quick loops or motion tests. Export as GIF or video when done.
Yes. iPad only. No Mac, Windows, or Android version exists. You need an iPad (ideally with Apple Pencil support) to use it. If you’re on another platform, look at Photoshop, Krita, or other drawing apps instead.
