Introducing Envato’s new plans: what’s changing and why

This new era of pricing is designed to keep Envato accessible for creatives at every stage, especially as more people start using AI in different ways. It also means we can keep building best-in-class creative tools for our community, responsibly and sustainably, with ongoing improvements that give you more control over how you work.

Starting today, Envato is offering three individual tiers — Core, Plus, and Ultimate — each with monthly and annual billing options. Every plan still includes unlimited downloads of 26+ million creative assets with a lifetime commercial license. The tiers scale based on how much AI you use, so your plan fits the way you actually work. 

Here’s everything you need to know about the Envato pricing changes, what the new plans look like, how pricing works, and which one fits your workflow.

Envato’s plans and pricing: What’s changing?

Envato’s individual and team subscription is now three distinct plans: Core, Plus, and Ultimate. Unlimited creative asset downloads and a lifetime commercial license still come standard across every tier and across both stock and AI-generated assets.

What differentiates the plans is AI. Each tier is built around a distinct creative need, with AI generation limits scaling to match how you actually work.

Here’s how the new structure looks:

• Core starts at US$16.50/month, billed annually. You get unlimited stock downloads across the broadest range of creative assets and 10 AI generations per month. Your creative starting point, with AI generations included to get you started.

• Plus starts at US$39/month, billed annually. You get everything in Core, plus 100 AI generations per month across our AI toolkit, including ImageGen, VideoGen, ImageEdit, MusicGen, VoiceGen, MockupGen, SoundGen, and GraphicsGen. This tier is built for creatives who’ve made AI a regular part of their workflow.

• Ultimate starts at US$109/month, billed annually. You get everything in Plus with unlimited AI generations. No caps, no counting, no throttling. When we say unlimited here, we mean unlimited. For creatives who generate at volume daily, experiment constantly, and want to push their ideas further, Ultimate delivers maximum creative momentum.

All three plans are available with monthly or annual billing. Pricing excludes local tax and may vary depending on location. All plans are subject to Envato’s User Terms including Fair Use Policy. 

Why AI is now tiered

Creative workflows have changed. Some people use AI occasionally to refine an image or test a concept. Others rely on it daily to iterate, generate variations, and build entire projects. A single plan can’t serve both of those realities well, and the tiered model is designed to keep Envato accessible for creatives at every stage, especially as more people start using AI in different ways.

Tiering means creatives who primarily use stock assets get a plan priced for how they work, and creatives who rely on AI daily get a plan that matches their output without compromise. It also lets Envato keep investing in ongoing improvements that give you more control over your workflow: better models, more creative options, and smarter tools that evolve with the technology.

What stays the same

Every plan includes unlimited downloads from Envato’s stock library: stock video, photos, music, sound effects, templates, graphics, fonts, 3D assets, and more. That’s 26+ million assets (with fresh assets added daily!), all covered by a lifetime commercial license that applies to both stock assets and AI generations. This is the foundation Envato was built on, and it’s unchanged.

The AI toolkit itself remains the same across Plus and Ultimate. Both tiers include the same tools and capabilities. The difference is generation volume.

You can still choose between monthly and annual billing on any plan. AI generations reset at the start of each subscription month, including on annual plans. And a usage tracker on your Account page and within the AI tools keeps your remaining balance visible so you can plan your workflow accordingly.

What counts as an AI generation

An AI generation is counted each time you click a Generate button or equivalent action. That includes generating or editing an image, generating or editing a video, creating a voiceover, producing AI music or sound effects, building custom styles, and defining start or end frames in VideoGen.

Your generation balance resets at the start of each subscription month, regardless of whether you’re on monthly or annual billing.

How Envato’s pricing compares

Most creative platforms focus on one thing: either stock asset libraries or AI generation tools. Subscribing to both typically means managing separate platforms, separate licenses, and separate costs.

Envato bundles stock assets and AI tools into a single subscription under one commercial license. Even the Core plan at $16.50/month includes unlimited stock downloads alongside foundational AI generations. Plus and Ultimate plans extend that with progressively more AI generation capacity, keeping everything under one roof.

Which plan fits your workflow

If you primarily download stock assets and occasionally experiment with AI, Core plan covers your needs comfortably. Ten generations a month supports light exploration, with full access to the asset library at Envato’s most accessible price point.

If AI has worked its way into your regular process, whether you’re iterating on image concepts, generating video drafts, or producing audio for projects, Plus plan gives you 100 generations a month. For most creatives who use AI as part of their production pipeline rather than the center of it, that’s solid working room.

If AI drives your daily output and you’d rather create than count, Ultimate plan removes the ceiling.
