The newest updates appear first. Scroll down for the full timeline of what’s new at Envato.

April 2026

Seedance 2.0 out on VideoGen

Seedance 2.0 has arrived on VideoGen, providing a major leap forward in generation quality. Outputs have a noticeably more authentic feel (less “AI sheen”, more cinematic), with significantly improved text rendering, realistic physics and animation, and better response to complex camera movement instructions.

Seedance 2.0 also handles complex scenes with ease, from layered crowd movements to intricate character animation, with production-quality lighting throughout.

Saving to Workspaces just got smarter

With “remember last choice,” your stock and generations now save straight to your last Workspace automatically. No extra clicks, no second guesses.

Just you, your project, and a workflow that keeps up. (As it should.)

March 2026

Search previously created license names

Reusing license names just got easier. You can now search across all your names and assign them at download.

Not in the mood to name things? No stress, you’re still fully licensed either way.

Search by author (yes, finally)

Got a favorite creator? Now you can search by author using @name to quickly find their work.

Even better—mix and match. Search across multiple authors to explore more from the creators you trust, all in one place.

Every generation, right where you need it

Because your best ideas shouldn’t disappear into the void. Generation History puts every AI creation into one spot, ready to revisit, refine, or take somewhere new. Think of it as your creative breadcrumb trail. Follow it back, grab what works, and keep building. Download, or save it to Workspaces to stay beautifully organised.

Font previews are here

You can now test fonts directly on-site before downloading. Type your own text, preview different weights, and adjust the size to see if a font fits your project. No installs or external tools needed. This makes it faster to shortlist the right font for your creative projects, so you only download what you’re confident you’ll use.

Search in Workspaces

You can now quickly search your Workspaces by name. Start typing, and your Workspaces will instantly filter to show matches, so you can jump straight into the Workspace you need.

February 2026

Faster access to your saved workspace

When you save to a workspace, you’ll now see a confirmation with a link to your Workspace, so you can dive straight in and stay in your creative flow.

Luma Ray 3.14 out on VideoGen

Luma Ray 3.14 has arrived on VideoGen, providing an upgrade to Ray 3 that’s 4× faster. Improved prompt adherence and fewer artefacts means that generations are more reliable and closer to what you describe.

Ray 3 is already one of the strongest models on VideoGen for cinematic quality, and Ray 3.14 makes that same quality faster and more consistent.

New models on MusicGen

The newest models from Minimax (the amazing Music 2.5) and Mureka (v7.6, v8 and o2) have joined ElevenLabs in MusicGen.

Check out how these industry-leading models are redefining what’s possible with AI generated music, including both instrumental and vocal tracks.

Your preferences, now in one place

You now have a dedicated Preferences page. Here you can manage all your existing settings like licensing, cookies, theme, and language in one place.

Choose how you license downloads

You now have more control over how you license your downloads. Pick the option that best fits your workflow and change it any time:

  • Remember last choice: Your last selected license name is applied to your next download, helping keeping you in that project flow.
  • Never ask: Items are automatically licensed each time you download, so you can move fast on high-volume projects without extra steps.
  • Always ask: Choose which license name to assign on every download, so you can keep work clearly organised by client or project.

Reframe your video on VideoGen

Generate once, then adapt for every platform. VideoGen Reframe lets you change the aspect ratio of any existing video, choosing from seven formats including 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9, and 9:21.

Rather than regenerating from scratch, Reframe gives you consistency by using intelligent outpainting to expand your video into the new aspect ratio whilst maintaining consistency with your original. You can guide the process with an optional prompt to control what appears in the new frame area, and your audio is preserved automatically.

Reframe works on both your current generation and any video in your history, so your entire library of past generations can be repurposed for new projects and platforms.

Faster selection in Workspaces

You can now use Shift‑click within your Workspaces to select large numbers of items in one go. Making it easier and faster to grab what you need to leverage bulk actions like download, license and move.

Change Subject on VideoGen

Swap subjects in your generated videos using a single reference image. Upload a character or object reference, describe what you want to change, and VideoGen handles the rest. It’s ideal for keeping characters consistent across clips, swapping products or outfits, or replacing subjects in existing footage without reshooting.

Bulk license from your Workspace

Select multiple assets in your Workspace, assign a license name, and download all the certificates together in a clean zip file. Pair it with bulk move, delete, copy, and download to keep your Workspaces and licenses organized and ready for hand-off. Less admin, more creating.

Modify your video on VideoGen

VideoGen’s Edit button has evolved into Modify — a smarter way to refine generations without starting from scratch. Modify uses your original video as a reference, so you can adjust lighting, restyle scenes, tweak elements, or shift camera movements while maintaining consistency. Iterate on your creative vision without regenerating from zero.

Duplicate Workspaces

Turn a Workspace you already love into the starting point for a new brief with a single click. Whether you’re kicking off a new campaign with the same asset structure or spinning up variations of an existing project, duplicating saves you the setup time and lets you get straight to the creative work.

Runway Gen 4.5 on VideoGen

Runway Gen 4.5 has arrived on VideoGen — a model trusted by industry leaders like Ubisoft and Adobe. Expect results more aligned to your intent, improved character motion, and professional production outputs that feel natural and authentic.

Search Workspace names

You can now search Workspace names to quickly find and save assets into the right project. When you’re managing dozens of Workspaces across clients and campaigns, a quick search beats endless scrolling every time. Start typing, find the right Workspace, and keep moving.

Bulk copy assets between Workspaces

Copy assets between Workspaces to reuse your favorite shortlists without starting from scratch. Keep your original Workspace intact while experimenting with different directions, sharing curated selections with teammates, or building out variations for different project phases.

Share your Workspaces

Share any Workspace with a link so clients and collaborators can view your saved assets in one place. No subscription needed to preview, making it perfect for quick feedback loops and sign-offs without the long email threads or scattered URLs.

January 2026

Location clarity restored

We’ve fixed an issue where some asset titles no longer showed location info. If a location is mentioned, it now appears clearly in the title again. Descriptions are back too, giving you more context while you browse. Thanks to everyone who flagged it — small details like these make a real difference when you’re searching for the right shot.

Bulk delete from your Workspace

Shortlists change as your project takes shape. Quickly bulk delete assets from any Workspace so only the strongest ideas stay on the board. Pair with bulk move and download to keep things tidy and your creative momentum going.

Similar from this author

Explore more assets from the same author, right from the item detail view. Perfect for matching styles across a project, browsing a creative series, or discovering an author’s work across different asset types. When you find a creator whose work clicks, now you can dive deeper without leaving the page.

Light Mode

Prefer a brighter interface? You can now switch between light and dark themes to match your working style and environment. Whether you’re in a sunlit studio or just prefer a cleaner look during the day, the choice is yours. Click your profile and toggle between themes anytime.

Bulk move assets between Workspaces

Move assets between Workspaces to keep your projects organized as priorities shift. When a shortlisted asset belongs in a different brief or a project scope changes, just move it over instead of saving it again from scratch. Assets moved, Workspaces sorted, focus restored.

Typeahead subcategories and filters

Suggested subcategories and filters now surface directly in the search bar as you type. Instead of browsing through filter panels after you search, relevant narrowing options appear inline as you go — getting you to the right results faster with fewer clicks.

Search by audio upload

Audio search now supports file uploads alongside link-based search, giving you two ways to find the right vibe. Drop in a reference track from your hard drive and find similar music or sound effects in seconds. Less time hunting, more time creating.

Seedance 1.5 Pro arrives on VideoGen

Seedance 1.5 Pro brings native audio and speech to VideoGen, joining the growing roster of audio-capable models under the hood. Beyond sound, 1.5 Pro introduces more complex camera movement options, better interpretation of both short and long prompts, and noticeably faster generation speeds. If you’ve been waiting for tighter control over how your AI videos move and sound, this one’s for you.
Try VideoGen.

Bulk download from your Workspace

No more downloading assets one by one. Select multiple saved assets in your Workspace and download them all at once, syncing straight to your drive. It’s a small change that saves real time, especially when you’re pulling together assets for a larger project or preparing deliverables for a client. Shortlist downloaded, drive synced, chaos avoided.

Search by audio

Finding the right vibe just got faster. Paste a YouTube or Spotify link to search for tracks with a similar feel, making it easier to match a reference track or find alternatives that fit your project’s mood. Audio file uploads are coming soon, giving you even more flexibility in how you search.

FLUX.2 [max] powers ImageEdit

FLUX.2 [max], the next-generation image model from Black Forest Labs, is now one of the models working under the hood of ImageEdit. You won’t see a new toggle or model picker — instead, your generations and edits quietly become more precise, cinematic, and consistent. FLUX.2 [max] delivers maximum prompt accuracy, high-precision editing that preserves what already works, and multi-reference consistency for campaigns and catalogs where visual coherence matters.
Learn more about FLUX.2 [max].

GPT Image 1.5 joins ImageGen

OpenAI’s GPT Image 1.5 is now one of the image engines powering ImageGen behind the scenes. The model brings stronger lighting and color accuracy, cleaner text rendering for infographics and UI mockups, and more reliable instruction following for complex prompts. Images look less “AI-ish” and more publish-ready out of the box.
Learn more about GPT Image 1.5.

GraphicsGen Formats: Infographic, Poster, and Logo

GraphicsGen now includes three new Formats designed for the visuals you make most. Infographic layouts prioritize readable text and structured information flow. Poster designs balance type, imagery, and spacing for impact. Logo formats lean toward clarity and form, producing simple, iconic compositions. Choose a Format, add your prompt, and get a clean foundation that lets you focus on ideas instead of fixing the basics.
Try GraphicsGen Formats.

Licensing, made easier

Licensing now happens automatically when you download, so you’re covered without the extra admin. Assigning items to a project is now optional, which means you can stay in the creative flow without mandatory form-filling. When you do need that extra layer of organization, the option is still there, but it’s no longer a blocker.

More curated assets across categories

Fresh curated picks are now live across Fonts, 3D, Presentation Templates, Add-Ons, and Web Templates. Each collection is handpicked by our team to surface standout quality and spark ideas for your next project. Think of it as a shortcut past the scroll, straight to the good stuff.

Wan 2.6 on VideoGen

Wan 2.6 brings improved lip sync and more natural character interactions to VideoGen. Generations feel more realistic and authentic, particularly in scenes involving human subjects or dialogue. If you’re working on content that requires believable human motion and expression, Wan 2.6 is worth experimenting with.

Luma Ray 3 on VideoGen

Built for creators ready to dream big. Luma Ray 3 delivers state-of-the-art physics simulation, realistic lighting, and an intelligent understanding of your prompts that feels more like collaboration than instruction. Expect high-fidelity details, sophisticated camera effects, and strong spatial and character consistency across your generations. This model thinks and reasons in visuals alongside you.

Photo search, upgraded

We’ve tuned photo search to surface more relevant results earlier, with better variety in people, scenes, and styles. Filters like “number of people” are now more accurate, reducing the endless scroll when you know exactly what you need. The result is a faster path from search to download, with less noise in between.

Search by image

Upload a reference image in Photo search to find visually similar shots in seconds. Drop in an asset you love, add a few keywords to refine, and let the results roll in. It’s especially useful when you’re working from a client brief or moodboard and need to match a specific aesthetic without guessing at keywords.

Share individual asset links

Copy and share direct links to any asset in the library. Each link opens the asset detail view, and no subscription is needed to preview. It’s a simple addition that makes quick feedback loops and client sign-offs significantly easier, especially when you’re working across teams or with external stakeholders.

Curated Music, Sound Effects, and Graphics

We’ve pulled together standout Music, Sound Effects, and Graphics to help you move faster and create with confidence. These curated selections surface high-quality assets that work across a range of projects, cutting down the time you spend searching and increasing the time you spend creating.

VideoGen Presets

The new Presets feature in VideoGen lets you select from 14 camera movement presets to guide your generation outputs. Options include zoom in/out, dolly movements, vertical reveals, drone shots, and handheld camera effects. Instead of describing every camera behavior in your prompt, just pick a preset and let the model handle the rest.

It’s a vocabulary of cinematic behavior you can drop directly into a generation — dolly zooms with tension built in, smooth drone arcs, handheld motion that adds grit. Hover to preview, feel the rhythm of the shot, and generate exactly what you saw.

MusicGen now has lyrics

We’ve integrated ElevenLabs’ Eleven Music into MusicGen, and the results are striking: lyric generation that captures emotion, and prompt adherence so precise it feels almost like telepathy. Toggle on lyrics to generate vocals automatically or write your own. Define song structure by controlling chorus, bridge, and verse sections individually. Describe what you hear — “ethereal dream pop with organic textures” or “upbeat indie folk building to an emotional climax” — and get music that understands the assignment at a fundamental level. Specify BPM, key, and feel, and MusicGen locks to those parameters while still creating something alive. Every track exports as an uncompressed PCM with commercial licensing built in.

ImageGen got smarter with Imagen 4

Google Imagen 4 joined ImageGen, and the standout feature is typography that actually works. After years of AI giving us “COFEE SHOPP” and “RESTRANT,” we’ve finally got a model that can spell. But it goes beyond getting letters in the right order — Imagen 4 understands how text should look in context, from vintage diner signs with authentic neon glow to handwritten notes that actually look handwritten. Beyond text, serious improvements to photorealism mean micro-details like fabric weave patterns and light on water droplets now render beautifully.

PremiumBeat’s catalog is now yours

40,000+ professionally produced tracks from PremiumBeat now sit in your subscription, pushing the total music library past 320,000 tracks. These aren’t generic stock tracks — they’re curated for broadcast standards, the kind of music that actually belongs in your project. Every track comes with stems, loops, and alternate versions for real editing flexibility. And they’re pre-cleared for YouTube’s copyright system, so you can upload and monetize without mysterious claims or revenue sharing with bots.
Explore PremiumBeat tracks.

Claim Clear for copyright claims

Most tracks in the library are now pre-cleared, meaning no claims hit your videos in the first place. For tracks that do get flagged, you can clear copyright claims on Claim Clear-ready music directly from the Envato dashboard, saving you the time and stress of going through YouTube. Every claim means ad revenue leaving your pocket. Every manual dispute means hours not creating. Claim Clear addresses both problems.

MusicGen for AI-generated tracks

Type what you need — “mysterious electronic with driving bass” or “lo-fi hip hop but make it jazzy” — and get original tracks in seconds. MusicGen understands musical language, so you can be as specific or abstract as you want. It knows the difference between “melancholic” and “brooding,” between “driving” and “pulsing.” Need a 30-second clip to run longer? Extend it smoothly. Want variations? Generate similar tracks that explore different directions while keeping the same energy.

VoiceGen expanded to 35+ voices and languages

VoiceGen jumped from 12 characters to over 35 expressive voices, now filterable by gender, age, and use case. The big news is language support — VoiceGen now speaks 35+ languages natively, from Tamil to Croatian, Arabic to Finnish. Just start typing in your language and the model detects it automatically. The experimental interface takes things further, letting you drag sliders to dial in emotion, accent, speed, and tone. Think of it as a voice actor who takes incredibly specific direction.

More from this series for stock video

Find matching footage instantly. When you discover the perfect clip, you can now see other shots from the same series — same location, same lighting, same models, same vibe. It’s a game-changer for cohesive storytelling, making it easy to build scenes with multiple angles or campaigns that need visual consistency without spending hours hunting through search results.

Download the size you need

No more downloading massive 4K files just to downscale them yourself. Selected 4K videos now come with an automatic 1080p option. Click the size you want, download what you need.
