In fact, that’s what our new campaign is about. It’s called Creative Flow: Activated. Over the next couple of months, we’ll be exploring creative flow in all its forms: what it is, how to get there, what breaks it, and the people who chase it for a living. There will be interviews with creative pros around the world, a closer look at the science behind flow, and three short films, made by three AI artists working inside the Envato toolkit.

Hungarian-American psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, the “father of flow”, described flow in the 1970s as the state where attention narrows, time stretches, and the work becomes the world. The films

Creative flow can be felt, named, and chased. Turns out it can also be turned into a film — or three.

We developed a set of scripts in partnership with creative agency SuperHeroes, all built around the same question: what does it look like when someone is so locked into their creative flow that absolutely nothing can pull them out? Then we handed those scripts to AI artists Jon Uriarte and Holden Boyles and asked them to bring their own vision to each one, using Envato’s stock library and AI tools to generate every visual and audio element.

The results are three short films dropping this month. Each one places a creative pro at a desk in the middle of escalating, absurd, sometimes genuinely dangerous chaos. The creative never looks up.

Lucha Mania

A creative pro works calmly from the middle of a lucha libre ring while masked wrestlers launch themselves through the air, body-slam opponents — and occasionally the desk — while the crowd goes feral. He stays locked in. The edit keeps moving.

Circus

A creative pro sits at the center of a circus ring while a swarm of bees turns the show into pandemonium. Clowns scramble. Tightrope walkers crash-land. Animals break loose. The creative doesn’t flinch.

Monster Stunt

Set in the middle of a monster truck rally, a creative pro works at her desk while blindfolded drivers launch trucks through rings of fire, tear through hot dog stands, and send mud flying in every direction. She never loses focus.
