Are you excited to embrace the trendiest color of 2024? Dive into everything you need to know about Peach Fuzz and discover innovative ways to infuse next year’s Color of the Year into your designs and creative projects.

What Is the Pantone Color of the Year 2024?

While 2023’s Viva Magenta was all about vim, vigor, and exuberance, Peach Fuzz brings a more introspective tone. An appealing warm hue ‘softly nestled between pink and orange’, the 2024 Pantone Color of the Year is all about evoking a sense of belonging, recalibration, and nurturing.

Selected to bring comfort during times of turmoil, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz reminds us of the importance of nurturing, empathy and compassion. Additionally, in a world which rewards productivity and external achievements, the warm tone is a reminder to foster our inner selves, and seek out moments of respite, creativity, and human connection.

“We wanted to turn to a color that could focus on the importance of community and coming together with others,” explains Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute. “The color we selected to be our Pantone Color of the Year 2024 needed to express our desire to want to be close to those we love and the joy we get when allowing ourselves to tune into who we are and just savor a moment of quiet time alone.”

“In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance,” adds Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.”

Peach Fuzz is a versatile shade, which will no doubt infuse commercial projects, interior design, and Instagram feeds the world over with a much-needed dose of comfort and coziness.

“Adaptable to both print and digital applications, 2024’s Color of the Year sits in juxtaposition to last year’s vibrant Viva Magenta, instead evoking a sense of calm and warmth,” says Envato Digital Design Manager Keiron Lewis. “Similar shades were popular in the Art Nouveau period and the early 80s, and lend themselves to easy use in a wide range of commercial applications.”
