  • The new brand identity will be rolled out across Envato, with a focus on enhancing and further strengthening its creative subscription product.
  • The rebrand coincides with the successful completion of its acquisition by Shutterstock, Inc. (NYSE: SSTK), a leading creative platform.

Melbourne, Australia – 24 July, 2024 – Envato, the global destination for digital creative assets and templates, is excited to unveil a fresh new look, logo, and website. The new brand identity is not just a visual update but signifies the strategic transformation of the Envato brand and product experience—all poised to redefine its creative presence in the market.

“Bold, vibrant, and reflective of Envato’s spirit, this rebrand symbolizes our evolution and unwavering commitment to supporting creatives,” says Envato CEO Hichame Assi. “We’re excited to continue empowering our creative community and hope the refreshed Envato will inspire them to make their mark on the world.”

Passionate about drawing from the community’s talent and diverse perspectives, the rebrand was a major collaborative effort between in-house creative teams and authors from within the contributor community. The new logo embodies the spirit of Envato and their community’s creativity. It features the ‘Creative Spark’—a symbol of dynamism and energy—and the ‘Dynamic Dot’—a representation of each creative individual making their unique mark. Additionally, a brighter and bolder color palette helps to reinvigorate the brand, bringing a fresh and vibrant energy to the visual identity.

“Those who’ve been part of our journey know how much heart and passion exists in the creative community we have cultivated,” says Envato’s Chief Marketing Officer, Noelle Kim. “We wanted to evolve our brand to capture the feeling we hope to evoke in our community every time they interact with our brand and product: a sense of energy and a drive to do things differently. And we collaborated with our platform contributors Milos Mitrovic for the logo design and K. Sparks for our sonic branding to bring this to life.”

As part of the rebrand, Envato has also launched a new website that looks and functions better, with modernized UI and enhanced UX to create a cohesive creative journey—from sparking ideas to finding the perfect creative assets.

Coinciding with the recent completion of Envato’s acquisition by Shutterstock, Inc. (NYSE: SSTK), this rebrand marks a monumental phase of growth. The timing is symbolic, representing not just a fresh start, but a significant milestone in the brand’s ongoing evolution.
